Dr Karl Steele is the founder of KCS Publishing and brings a strong academic, educational and analytical background to the business.

With a PhD in Microbiology and many years of experience in science and education, Karl has spent much of his professional life working with complex information, communicating ideas clearly, and helping others develop their knowledge and skills.

He founded KCS Publishing with the aim of creating a modern, practical and author-focused approach to publishing. The business is being developed around transparency, accessibility and long-term collaboration, helping writers bring their work to readers while retaining a greater understanding of, and involvement in, the publishing process.

Karl’s approach to publishing reflects the same principles that have shaped his academic and professional career: careful attention to detail, evidence-based decision-making, clear communication and a commitment to doing things properly.

KCS Publishing forms part of the wider KCS Consortium and is the first stage of a broader vision to create practical, interconnected businesses built around education, creativity and opportunity.
